Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a Food retail concept company opening new stores in the UK and the USA with an aggressive growth target for the next 4 years.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Responsibilities
- Conducted research for new store location and worked with the finance director to provide accurate and concise forecast figures and budgets.
- Attain and negotiate site leases. Deal with all legal processes and documentation in order to secure the site, and ensure that the company is complying with license and leasing laws.
- Managing the design and build of new retail/store units, with builds ranging from 1 to 2m
- Leading internal project Critical Path meetings with heads of department, reporting to Founders and stakeholders on progress, and leading onsite construction meetings with all contractors.
- Sourcing and procuring of client direct systems, fixtures and fittings and equipment for all new stores
- Developing and implementing appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs and liaising with internal and external stakeholders and founders.
- Ownership of expansion CAPEX budget for each project, monitoring and managing budget to achieve and exceed openings targeted.
- Developing expansion strategies with the Expansion team to ensure 1YP, 3YP targets are met and exceeded
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR ROLE IS ESSENTIAL
